How long should I have pain after tooth extraction/ bone graft?

I had a tooth extraction and bone graft done on the top back molar (next to where my wisdom teeth would be) about 48 hours ago. I am in excruciating pain and nothing is working. I have been given vicodin es and motrin 800. I have been icing it and everything else they told me to do. Is there anything else i can do to releive it?

i dont know call your dentist i had a tooth pulled monday and am still in loads of pain. good luck i hope you feel better soon

Go back to the Dentist , he is the expert. It wouldn't hurt to pray either. There is a dude who is the top answerer for this category, Dr. Sam. Address the question to him, he will know
