Try finding the folder and deleting it. then restart the computer, it then should no longer show up under add/install list.

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool

Use the Norton Removal Tool to remove a failed installation or a damaged Norton product.

Usually when you install a program a registry file is saved in the computer but you can see it, and i guess what u did is like deleting the program without deleting the registry.. so what u have to do is deleting the correct file registry..
i prefer not to give the detailed way to delete coz any small mistake will make system crash for your PC.. i would recommend to get a professional to do such thing...
Good Luck

Its still in the registry. Just go to download.com and look for a free registry cleaner....

Norton takes over your computer....its annoying...I like avast myself....plus its free....You can go to cleansoftware.org or download.com and look for a good free antivirus.

Re-install Norton, then, un-install it again.
