Duran would walk through Barrera in less than 6 rounds, very similar to the way Pacquiao did but with savagery and hatred. Everyone seems to forget that Marco was a brawler in his prime, his fights with Junior Jones (2) and McKinney forever changed his style. Marco is six years out of his prime now. So in his prime Marco wouldn't be able to hang against a in his prime Duran.

Thanks for the question PoppaDog.

Raberto Duran would get his *** kicked by the legendary Marco Antonio Barrera.

Marco Antonio Berarra would get KTFO'd by Roberto Duran.

Roberto Duran is just too big for Marco Antonio Barrera though and would also beat his *** down.

Barerra is a really good fighter and very tough but Duran is a legend particularly at the lightweight level. Fighter's like Duran don't come around that often as he was not only tough and a hard puncher, but intimidating and an outstanding boxer as well. I believe that he would have outboxed and outfought Barerra knocking him down early in the fight and pummel him with counter right hands finally knocking him out in the 7th round of an exciting fight.

At one point Duran's record was 72-1 (his first 12 years fighting) before he lost the rematch to Sugar Ray Leonard.

It might be a good fight, but I like Duran in this one.

Duran was one of the greats, Barrara, while very very good, would not have been able to handle the pressure Duran brought. Nobody brought the combination of savagery and skill to a boxing match that Duran brought. To make matters worse for Barrara, in his prime he was a straight ahead brawler, made to order for Roberto.

Duran by KO inside 6

I think if they fought 3 times that Duran would win 2 of them.

Would be a very close and entertaining fight. Berarra is a very skilled fighter but Duran can match anything he has. Duran by close decision. Great match up.

Duran hits too hard. Duran would stop him sometime after the 5th round.

i think that barera and duran are both good and barera will beat duran because duran is not good anymore. havent you heard that duran retired five years ago. it seems that you dont folow boxing because duran is one of the greatest and you do not know that he retired already. he retired becase of a accident and he canot fight anymore again because he retired. please know the facts before asking a question.
