Miss him...he was a real gentlemen. Only raced the cup. I am getting tired of the busch whackers...and not letting anyone new joining in. Pick the busch or cup. No one else gets an opportunity. Some drivers race the trucks, busch and cup. Lotsa good drivers out there. Give them a break like Rusty did.

I kinda miss Rusty in the Miller Lite Deuce. He was a fair, clean driver. He never pushed the issue with anyone. I think he's somewhat decent as a color commentator. I prefer to have someone calling the sport that has actually experienced it, than some nobody journalist or analyst who's only watched it.

Not really, Rusty was a good driver but was very quick to cut other driver down. He hated the fact that Gordon passed 55 races before he did and he called Gordon a lucky driver. He never would admit that Gordon was a good driver. Even Dale Earnhard gave Gordon his due. Quote, Jeff Gordon is the best driver in nascar at this time, it wouldn't surprise me to see him win at every race. When he was interviewed by Benny Parsons after he finished second to Gordon at Marinsville. Rusty was the best at whining.

And all his whining? No, I cant stand to see him in the announcers booth. I understand that they need an insider for info during the race, but my god. Isn't there anyone better than rusty or DW?

No -I do not miss him at all. Now we get to see his whiner kid Steven "Winky" Wallace pitch hissy fits. Like father like son.
Next time he broadcasts everybody take a drink of beer every time he says "Hotrod" or "when I was a driver." See if you last thru the race.

Desperately. He was always fun to watch drive and give interviews. He was a happy interview no matter what. And talk about a guy who can drive. WOW! Its great to see him on the Busch broadcast as an announcer. I hope his boy does well too. Thanx for a great question.

Yes,I miss him,not that I know him a whole lot but he was a good racer, and why the hell do you people judge so quickly before you even know a person,You try racing around in a dodge in 500 circles nonstop without an advil or tylenol.

I miss him racing, for one thing he wouldn't be doing commentary if he was still in the deuce. He was a much better driver than he is in the booth.
