apparel that is intentionally revealing is indecent.
today's female fashion is downright pornographic.

Indecent dressing - super short skirts or shorts that leave nothing to the imagination. Some are so short, why bother. Very revealing tops that let everything hang out. Super low cut pants that show thongs. This gives men the wrong idea. If you have it flaunt it they say. If you flaunt it and get raped, don't cry as you are a walking bill board for it. What do you think it is saying wearing clothes like that?
Overdressed - wearing formal attire to a casual affair. Where I nice simple dress would do you wore a long "red carpet" type of dress with a lot of jewels.
Decently dressed - dressing for the occasion. Formal affair - formal attire, real dressy. Casual affair - simple dress, skirt and top, conservative shorts/pants and top or blouse. Beach day - beach attire. Walk in the woods - outfit for the woods, long pants, hiking boots, etc. Nice jeans and tops or sweats even.

I suppose it depends on the individual, and so with that said, I think anything that is suggestive of "easy" would be indecent. Showing lots of cleavage, skirts so short that bending down would leave nothing left to the imagination, pants to tight that every nook and cranny shows, see-through shirts. Decent clothes cover all the things that need to be covered in public and stay that way no matter what you do. Overdressing depends on the situation. If you're invited to a housewarming and show-up in a cocktail dress or dress suit, that would be overdressed. Hope this helps.

That is such a broad question. Generally speaking, if the cleavage of your breast is showing, you are daring and exploitive. If the crack of your bum is showing, same thing. If the bottom of your bum is peeking through short shorts or short skirt, you are dressing provacatively and it is not suitable for all members of the family.
Having said that... there are places where those rules slack off a bit - such as at a beach or community pool. In most bathing suits, cleavage will show. In certain types of swim trunks, a wet suit is something similar to a "wet t-shirt" contest. However, any suit that shows the bottom of your bum cheeks is still considered indecent. If nothing else, it shows you are still trying to fit into a smaller suit than you need.
When in public, be respectable. If "showing your wares" is how you think you need to find a mate, you must not have much to offer someone in a relationship. A winning personality will show through even if you are wearing a burlap potato sack.

Depends on where you are are. A bikini on the beach is not considered indecent. The same bikini in a restaurant is considered indecent. There is proper attire for the office - Slacks or skirt properly fitted- blouse or shirt - both at least meeting the tops of the pants (no midriff showing). shopping at the mall you can wear jeans or shorts and tee shirt with some midriff showing - bathing suit would still not be acceptable though. Cocktail dress at dinner in fine restaurant is is expected - same dress at mall or office is overdressed for occasion.

In my opinion indecent dressing is wearing clothes that may not fit or wearing very little such as tank tops etc... Decent dressing is wearing like a nice t shirt and some jeans. something simple not flashy

I've seen some things on the beach that made my cheeks turn red!!
Some things I actually thought were illegal!!
If a person is dressed decently, you shouldn't be staring at their....well..you know!
Actually, indecent dress makes everyone feel uncomfortable.

Amishpan is right on target. I agree 100%.
But I think overdressing is subject to some allowance for personal taste. I have been accused of being "overdressed" when I wear a dress to a picnic - or even pulling weeds from my garden. Allow me a moment to shed some light on this:
My mother never owned a pair or pants in her life - she always wore dresses or skirts - and I guess it rubbed off on me. My mom was not opposed to girls in pants, she just didn't find them comfortable. I wore jeans through most of my teen years, but later found loose cotton dresses and flowing skirts to be much more comfortable. To this day (I'm retired), I don't own a pair of jeans. I show up at picnics in a dress or skirt. I work in my garden and hike through the woods in a dress - but with athletic or comfortable walking shoes on my feet. It's just a matter of comfort.
But.... wearing a cocktail dress, stockings and high heels would be overdressed in the same settings. You can generally tell when someone is dressed for dining in a fine restaurant opposed to bumming around in the garden.

Indecent is showing a little too much skin or a little too tight. It can also be ripped pants or torn shirts. I've had a number of women and men show up for work and had to send them home for dressing trashy. Casual: nice jeans (no rips), nice sweater or shirt (no T-shirts w/ sayings and such). Business Casual: depending on your dress code: dockers, or any pants not jean colored (black jeans fine) with a nice sweater, shirt (no T-shirts) or blouse. Dressed up: Nice suit pants w/ jacket and blouse or skirt (not too short, less than 3" above the knee) with a matching shirt or blouse. Black Tie Dressy: evening gown or dark colored tailored suit.

Indecent dressing is a young man having their pants 4 sizes too big and falling down, shirt untucked and hat on sideways. For young ladies, having their g-string showing.
Overdressed is like wearing a skirt to a NASCAR race.

I think a tablespoon or so is a decently dressed salad. More than three tablespoon it is definately overdressed. And Thousand Island and French are indecent dressing.
