Double Post?

Tape the "F8" key a few times when you first turn on your computer, when the Windows Boot Menu comes up choose "Last Known Good Configuration" wait while your computer works, it will then reboot and everything should hopefully be back to normal.

I have had this problem before and had to reload windows. Last known good configuration didn't work it just kept re-booting. It was ok for a while then in the end just kept cutting out as though I had a power cut. It was the power supply unit.

Not a packard bell or advent is it by any chance

I had the comparable situation. All i did became into decide for a equipment fix at a date some months previous. you are able to loose some bits and peices however the subject became into solved. carry down the f7 key whilst its commencing to boot untill the menu seems and bypass for the period of the equipment fix selection. Its all self explanatory from there on. good success!

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
