I agree with the last two suggestions. East Street is excelent but Borough Market is probably the most famous and has a much wider range of really top quality food.

Borough market is brilliant and a lot of restaurants buy their fresh produce there. It is one of London's oldest markets so it is actually really interesting to visit anyway.

Covent Garden or Brixton Market. Both near tube stations.

I prefer both fruits and fruit and vegetables better, however they look and taste. You desire a little of both.

panzer in st.john's wood is a great delicatessen. just come out of the tube station , cross over the road to the left, take the next left and it's on your right.

selfridges is good for exotic fruit and veg too!

I personally think, you should go to the Big Food Stores, like Tesco, Sainsbury, Asda etc, you will find most of the fruits and vegetables, fresh and cheaper than vegetables Stores.
