We all give off a smell so we are all noxious. If it's a bad smell then we are obnoxious.
The words are close to being archaic.

DO you? Are you worrying about yourself or about me?
I try not to, and if I ever am to a third party it normally is unconsciously.
It is not too difficult, if you control yourself to avoid being arrogant, too ambitious, jealous, covetous, a liar and rancorous
Instead you can be tolerant, generous, amiable, kind and understanding.
