Mary has no intercessionary powers.
Sorry , but it is the truth.
To say that she does would make Jesus human and he is not.
Jesus Christ is the son of God who came here to earth to live as a human inside human flesh for a finite amount of time.
To even imagine that Jesus is lazy or unaware of what we need is very damaging to the knowledge that he knows us and loves us and cares for us to the point of preparing a place for us at this very moment.
Please remember that Jesus did not leave us alone during this time, he sent the comforter (Holy spirit) to show us truth and light.
Jesus will be back to bring us to him and he will not need Mary to tell him when where and how. All is in Gods timing, not ours or Mary's

Jesus performed His first miracle in response to His mother's intercession, in spite of the fact that "His time had not yet come". In other words, He modified God's eternal plan at her request. And she knew He would. What tremendous faith! It isn't that Mary personally holds any great "power" as such. But she does seem to have particular influence upon the One Who holds infinite power. And why would we expect otherwise? She is His mother after all!

No such thing. Jesus said "I am THE way THE truth and THE life NO man comes to the father but by ME" A dead woman cannot interceed for someone, she is dead. Trying to communicate with dead people is against the bible and is called an abomination. People who pray to mary are no different than the likes of Sylvia Brown talking to dead people. (which she isnt by the way she is communicating with demons not angels)

Yes her intercession is powerful and yes I can attest to it. The first recorded miracle performed by Christ in the New Testament was when Jesus turned the water into wine. He did so because His Mother Mary asked Him to. I have also been helped by Saint Joseph. Anyone who would like to ask me about personal experiences can contact me. I won't tell them here because some people find it amusing to mock everything and I love the blessed Mother too much to give them the opportunity.

Perhaps this is your purpose in asking, but some of the responses remind me of my mythology course I took once. It all seems so silly.
Does she intercede? No, because god says she doesn't.
Does she intercede? Yes, because god says she does.
How backwards and moronic. I can understand the comfort some people derive in believing in a supernatural diety, but to hear people talk about the canon, symantics and intricate workings of the religion makes it seem so preposterous to an outsider. Don't you people realize how silly you sound?

Mary, who found favor from God, was chosen by her God to bear and rear His Son. A great honor, and most favored, but she was still a sinner and she lived her life and died as the woman God chose to carry His Earthly Body.
Mary can no more intercede for you than any other Saint. All Saints, living and dead, are still sinners despite being filled with the Grace of God. Most of us will die and stay dead, or be with God in Heaven, until Resurrection.
There is ONE intercessor between God and man and it is Jesus Christ Our Lord. Worship God or whorship his followers. In the Gospel, a woman declare to Christ "Blessed is the woman that birthed you!" and he said "No, blessed are those who follow me."

this is to you preacher. We do not worship Mary, we worship God in three persons Father Son and Holy Spirit. You know you are quick to judge but I am willing to bet you have never set foot in a Catholic Church. So before you Judge someone you need to study, and when you do that you will learn that all denominations came from the Catholic Church. It was the only Christian Church in the world until 1054 A.D. when the Greek Orthodox split away. But the catholic Church has never Change since Jesus Started it. He started the universal Church. And the Word universal in Greek id Catholic. So do some studying next time before you answer. Yes the blessed Mother's intercession is very powerful. She is the Mother of God in the flesh.

Mary has no special powers. She was blessed among women as she was chosen to bring Christ into the world and that is all. The Roman Catholic Church elevated her to a goddess-like status to get more pagans to convert that needed a female deity.

Mary died when her time was up. She was only a vessel that God used to birth Jesus. The Catholics made an image of her and worship her, but they don't realize they are breaking the 10 Commandments when they do that.
1. You shall have no other gods before Me
2. You shall not make for yourselves a GRAVEN IMAGE nor bow down to it nor serve it.
I think that says it all. Mary can't answer one prayer. Only God answers prayer.
(Incidentally, graven means carved)
Jesus is our Intercessor and ever lives to make intercession for us.

Mary's Interecession is not true, and is never even talked about in the word of God.
