toujours

pronounced: too sure (shoor)

(there is also: une éternité,
sans cesse, à jamais)

You are welcome

Toujours

However, note also the word 'sempiternel(le)' (adjective), meaning everlasting, neverending, as well as the corresponding adverb 'sempiternellement', meaning eternally, everlastingly.

Both, as you can see, sound like the Spanish word 'siempre', meaning always and like the Latin word 'semper', that also means always.

toujours. Notice the derivation of the word?

its toujours, but it can also be used for the words forever and eternity, bascially any word with a similar meaning.

"Toujours", which also has the meaning of "still", in constructions like "Il n'a toujours pas fait ses devoirs" -- "he has still not done his homework".

"à jamais" means "forever" in the way that "para siempre" does.
