i was just wondering.. u noe wif all the discrimination and problems going on this days.. I know of a girl who isnt religious at all. she wanna bcom an actress and make it big in the USA. lets say she is good. and can make it. But will she not be succesful bcos of her officaly being a muslim?

No, I think it will not make a difference. Infact, it may work to her advantage. Producers may want to use her to prove they are not discriminatory.
The most important thing is to be who you are and not pretend. Religious freedom is protected over here.

in reality, i think that depends on how she presents herself. if she wears religous coverings and constantly mentions that shes muslim i dont think it will go over well, but if she doesnt make her religon an obvious characteristic about her, im sure she will not be discriminated against. i think her being musilim wouldnt be the problem, but her looking/acting/expressing her relgion the same amount or more so than her acting skills. she should be seen for her acting abilities not religous background good luck!

I don't think religion would be a factor in determining whether or not someone could become an actress. Muslim, Christian, etc... it doesn't matter as long as you are a good actress, in my opinion.

No it will not effect her at all. Hollywood is a very Liberal part of the country and if anything she would be more than welcomed by them. We have other stars that were or are Muslim.

I'm not gonna answer on this acting thing specifically, by why can't Muslims succeed? sure they can , but i don't know why is everybody against Muslims ?

I don't think it would matter. Look at how many actors and actresses are scientologists. :) Besides, Hollywood seems to be an extremely diverse religious melting pot. And if the young woman isn't religious and she's talented, then her religion won't or shouldn't matter and her talent should. Just my two cents.

There's an actress(i can't remember her name)Who is muslim i think ,she was on the tv show 24.......She's kind of famous....

With the way society works, she probably wont succeed because of her religion, unless no one knows. I hope Allah saves her from her disbelief though

that's what they do. i think of countless them look extremely great. could be frustrating to could positioned on them continuously, yet as quickly as I have been raised that way, i think i could be used to it. great for them embracing thier ideals.
