I am not annoyed by people who use a dot instead of a comma or vice versa, at all!
I was just asking to see if other people do.

No...not really.
1. Newer keyboards seem to have a problem with the letters and figures rubbing off.
2. Not everyone knows how to use the keyboard.
3. Keyboards sometimes get dirty or sticky and some keys will not type properly.
4. Some people have vision problems.
I think you should be a bit more compassionate about this.

You should visit Europe. They reverse the two when writing numbers. For example;
1,234,567.89 becomes 1.234.567,89
