Most answers above did not translate FACULTAD correctly.
In Spanish FACULTAD means a branch or college in a university such as LA FACULTAD DE INGENIERIA, O LA FACULTAD DE MEDICINA, which it has nothing to do with your sentence.
The sentence is referring to a group of teachers, in Spanish we don't have a collective noun for group of teacher, so my best translation is:
Lilly (as a person's name so we don't translate it) tuvo que escuchar sus historias en la sala de los maestros.
