Yes, providing both cars are insured on different policies even with the same insurer. I own two cars, on one I am the only driver, but the other is insured for any driver over a certain age.
If both the cars belong to you and you employ other people to drive them it may be prudent to check on a fleet or trade policy where any person can drive any car on you behalf or in connection with your business. With a fleet policy the cars can also be used for domestic and pleasure purposes.
In any case it is well worth talking to your broker or insurance company, they have all the answers and can tailor policies to suit your individual needs.

I'm not really sure what you mean so I'll cover it two different ways. First; yes you can; if you have two vehicles and you are the primary driver for both vehicles than yes; however, you and someone else can not be the primary driver on both vehicles. Now; if you mean; you have two insurance policy's for the same vehicle and listed as primary driver on both policy's than your guilty of defrauding an insurance company. You can not collect twice for the same damage. Insurance is assigned to an individual and not to a vehicle. Vehicles do have some concern but; primarily when it comes to comprehensive Coverage. the liability insurance is issued on the abilities of the driver and not the car.

You are the insured not the car, so you shouldn't need to insure yourself twice for driving if you go fully comp.
