Your constant babbling amuses me. You complain about everything and do nothing about it. Is your last name Clinton?

Yes we would hesitate.

In regards to Japan, I am guessing you don't know that there was a large debate in the halls of government as to whether to use the atomic bombs on Japan. I am also guessing you don't know that the casualty estimates for an invasion of the islands was well over a million Japanese and over 500,000 U.S. service men.

Some people state that the Japanese surrendered before the dropping of the second bomb, but that is not correct. The Japanese offered a conditional surrender, but they were informed well before the first bomb was dropped that only an unconditional surrender was acceptable.

Conditional surrenders cause what we have now in Iraq.

And we won, too.

General Sherman, whose march through Georgia was legendary for its brutality, said that one wins wars not by winning the hearts of the enemy, but by being so brutal as to make them lose the appetite for war for several generations.

It's horrific. But it works. Some world we live in.

Very funny. You know how you defeat your enemies, by killing them before they kill you. It's pretty simple.
