its simple really ... but u need a dvd authoring app to ... vcd mpeg1 is actually a valid dvd format but all clips need to be the same specs on a specific dvd ... so .. u could use vcdgear to convert the dat files of the vcd to true mpeg1 ... then open them in an authoring application ... winavi or tmpgenc dvd author will do ... neither are free though ...

why are you able to target nero . the position as at the same time as writing it in a disk as a video (VCD/DVD) that's going to convert the films to the corresponding format . attempt it . nero start up wise is best

get some type of video converter i use video convert master it lets u convert any type of format especially divx,vcd,dvd, Mp3 etc

you can go to google and type in convert vcd to dvd and it will bring you some free and not free places to download so you can convert them i know you can use bitlord to do so

Also, try slysoft.com and see what they have, if you like their products you can email them with any questions
If you can afford to, try Roxio Suite 7 or 9, both very good
