She can legally drop out of school at 16 with parents consent. So I'm unclear here why they are giving you a hard time. If she scored that high, she'll get her ged without a problem. Check with your state laws, but I'm almost positive it's 16 when they can legally say I want to drop out. The school, the state and anyone else, can't object if you agree to it. I'm mom to 3..have investigated this myself cause my 17 yo son was talking of dropping out.

have you ever long gone searching for guidance on the NCLB? have you ever long gone to a districts website and gotten 'ALL' of the guidance which you have been searching for? I mean each and every of the stats on instructor turn over? investment? Police comments? The checklist is countless. As a determine you could bypass to a district website or maybe administration construction and seem for the guidance which you extremely want approximately any style of matters and do you extremely think of that the 'actuality' is going to be provide in words which at the instant are not 'majestically obscure'. So, as a determine i'm extremely given a puppy answer to a topic or difficulty. you already know given a rubber duckie and sent on my way. it is complicated to be in contact in a manner of substitute in a equipment it rather is promotes and invitations mum and dad and instructors to take part and function voices, yet i've got faith that the substantial's $ and politics. I have not have been given any determination yet to deliver my own son to the close by public college and enable me be truthful, he's no longer getting the learning that I desire he might desire to. As an educator myself, financially we are able to no longer have the money for to deliver my toddler to a private college. So what do you do? The NCLB has effected my son using fact the concentration of those scholars who won't have the ability to has been so very much funded and pressed upon, that those scholars who can are being left in the back of. My son, is being left in the back of using fact, nicely he can. He has no problems he's a techniques above point so we don't might desire to subject approximately those scholars. they're going to be nice. by no ability concepts that they are bored out of their minds and not being challenged. nicely, what's occurring to the $ for those classes and their enrichement? there is not any ordinary restoration and there at the instant are not any in a single day suggestions. All it is basic to do is proceed to be the suited instructor she will and not enable the interest kill her or him. I understand the place you're coming from, believe me. i became a statistic and that i vowed by no ability to lower back right into a school room lower back. I gave too various myself and on the tip of the day I had no longer something left to furnish to my kinfolk. So now i'm at abode with a 2 year previous and giving my kinfolk the suited of me, for as quickly as. stable success.

In many states laws vary on what you need to do to homeschool your child. In my state, all that's required is a form called an "intent to homeschool". Get on the search bars and look up your state and homeschool laws. You'll find it's much easier than you think.

Just put her in homeschooling. You can talk to a local charter school and they will tell you all about it! or talk to the school she is in now and say she will benefit more from homeschooling.

you are the parent, so you say what goes and what doesn't! if you want her out, pull her out! find a different school close by or just home school her.
