This is my own personal way of doing hair. Any one can achieve the hair they want you just have to take the time to do it. first off you need 2-3 different brands of shampoo and conditioner and one for removing build up. For your hair I would recommend Fructis Sleek and Shine, Fructis Curl and Shine, and Infusium23. I would also purchase a leave in conditioner, Fructis also has these and they are very good. Always wash your hair first when you get in the shower. Then put in your conditioner and use a comb to make sure you get it to all of your hair. DO NOT wash out. then continue your bathing ritual as normal. Before you get out of the shower rinse your hair. It is OK if your hair still feels soft and sleek that is normal. you don't want to wash all of it out b/c then it does no good. You can also add the leave-in treatment to your routine like you would the regular conditioner. and rinse it out as well. Rotate you brands and build-up remover so your hair doesn't become heavy with build up form then same shampoo use. The Key to soft shiny hair is the conditioner and how you use it. i have damaged hair form coloring it tooo much, and this is the best way to keep it form feeling that way.

There is this new Pantene restoratives or something like that. It is made to restore hair that has been damaged alot by straighteners and stuff like that. I would use that if you want to continue straightening your hair so that way your hair is less likely to be damaged as much. If you do not want to straighten your hair and keep your natural curls I would go with a shampoo made for curly hair.

I really like Bumble & Bumble Shampoos and Conditioners. They are one of best brands out there that I have found. For your hair, you might try their 'Creme de Coco' line. It adds a lot of moisture, leaves the hair soft / shiny and it smoothes frizzy hair. And always, before you use the flat iron, it's a good idea to apply a shine serum to protect your hair from the hot iron. Good luck.
