Stop loss only applies to people in the military. Since you have never served and never will - you have nothing to worry about.

Tough. Stop-Loss is applied with our without your consent. If the Army places your Brigade on Stop-Loss...you are stuck.

The Navy calls it Operational Hold. I guess your SOL because they can do it. I shoud know, they did it to me twice in my 20 years. It really wasn't that bad.
