I am looking for a nice but not too expensive language course in Spain, preferrably on the coast and ideally in Barcelona. I have found plenty of schools that claim to be the best but not sure how to pick the right one... Has anybody been there? Any recommendations?

I am in Spain at the moment, there is a particular thing about this place, since only a few spaniards can barely speak other languages, you will certainly learn fast, in other words you have 2 choices 1. Speak spanish 2. starve to death ... so you will pretty much learn fast no matter the school.... however if you go to barcelona you will find a little situation, they speak Catalan there as first language (they speak perfect spanish as well) and they are very proud of the Catalan, there is a kind of rivalry between "Spain" and "Cataluña" (they are the same country legaly but not socialy) and sometimes you speak to them in spanish and they won't answer you in spanish but Catalan, so you might wanna learn Catalan as well which is a mix between french and spanish, don't worry is easy.
