Yes.

"And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers. "3:85

The prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) also said:

"By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, there is no-one of this ummah, Jew or Christian, who hears of me then dies without believing in that with which I have been sent, but he will be one of the people of Hell."

We must do as the Quran tells is the right thing to do. We belive that there is only one true god and that no other shall be worshipped besides him. He has no partners and no sons. Muhammad (pbuh) was his messenger and he is the same god that Abraham (pbuh) and the prophets after him worshipped. According to the Quran if you believe this and repent for your sins, then you will enter paradise. There are also verses that hint that christians and jews may also make it to heaven and that everyone nomatter their religion will be judged fairly.

Nobody gets to heaven without "accepting" the teachings of the Qur'an, yes.

And the people who were Jews and Christians and Monotheists, before the advent of Islam, will also go to Heaven.

as a true believer, you must believe in all holy books, the angels, all prophets, and first and foremost in Allah.
thus is put forward in islam.
and the Qur'an has said many things about going to heaven, and he who is a muslim and sins always has a chance to getting back on track and ask for forgivness even if it were the last moment in his life and he would by Allah's will enter paradise.
