I don't think anyone can answer the first question, you will only get their opinion. I suggest reading as much as you can. Read "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins, I found it to be a very good read and thought-provoking. I believe religion is just another means of controlling people and personally don't belong to any religion. I have a lot of questions but no good answers to the God question. I would like the comfort of knowing there is some higher power out there watching over me but common sense-intelligence - etc tells me different.

"1. Does God exist?" (edited)
Yes.
"2. Why are there so many differences in beliefs of the various religions ?" (edited)
People differ on certain things. The scripture is there to discuss those things and then choices can be made upon the one's who are involved. In a free country anyone can decide what they want to believe, but we have scriptures to prove God's word.
"3. If nothing is impossible for God, why doesn't he come forward and tell the truth ? " (edited)
I would refer you to Hebrews 1. He did.
"(I am asking the above questions to understand, why are there so many blood baths in human history in the name of religion ?)" (edited)
Because people get involved in religion that have ulterior motives. They are not all believer's, some have political reasons, and some have money in mind, and some are just tyrants. Being a Christian does not mean anything unless you trust God through Jesus Christ.
I know that I wrote this in a Christian context. I hope that you don't mind. I proofread your questions so that you could see the way it can be better written. If English is not your native language, you are actually doing very good. ( :

Everyone has theories about what God thinks. No one has absolute proof of what he wants. Others don't even believe in a deity. So, what's the truth?
Well, if a God does not exist, then we can do whatever we want, with only the Earthly consequences for our actions. We're all going to the same place in the end, which would be the state of non-existence. So why not get all that we can, stepping on whoever gets in the way, to make our own lives as comfortable as possible. In fact, why not put those people that are in misery, out of their miseries. It would save so much suffering for them. Why have morals? They're just a hinderance from doing what we may really want to do. If fact, why not just waste the whole planet. That way there would be no suffering ever again for anyone. Would the universe miss this speck of dirt?
So, if there is a God, then what does he/she/it want? That paisano, I can not answer. May the search continue.

Ok, let´s begin by saying that
1) God exists. It´s a fact which can be proved by the human mind. It´s written in our hearts, the human race has always believed in the existence of a supreme being/s.
2) There are so many differences because a huge part of mankind hasn´t still accepted the only and true God, the Holy Trinity.
3) he came forward and told ud the truth. Jesus is the second person of The Holy Trinity and came to tell us what God is like and gave us the truth in his doctrine.
Finally, there has been so much blood bath in the name of religion because many people became fanatics. Don´t forget that God gave us freedom. Unfortunately, many didn´t accept the one and loving God who told us to love our neighbor and used religion as an excuse for their crimes. Other times, like in the Crusades, it was necessary to shed some bood to get back what belonged to the one and true Church of Christ.

1 - If God would not exist how would you explain the creation of the Universe and all that it contains, including us and other most than probably living beings in other planets?
So far, the best explanation given by most physics is that of the "Big Bang". Which is fine with me. But who or what created this Big Bang. If it happened to be produced by f some Wil or reaction or eenergy or power, then this Will, reaction, nergy or power would be GOD. And ITS power would be infinite to be able to create some kind of energy that in a matter a milliseconds produced the Universe with the zillions of stars we can see.
Think about for a while, will you?
2 - the differences in beliefs are natural and they are related to the different explanations man has sought throughout history to explain the unexplainable, i.e. God.
3. For the Creator of the Universe nothing is impossible. What has been able to create the wonder of life in our Earth, and who knows what kind of lives somewhere else, nothing can be impossible.
4 - The blood shed in the name of religion has nothing to do with God. God made us and set us free to take our own decisions. But man is so arrogant and ambitious that he had to have more and more all the time. And to justify this ambition of his nothing better than to have recourse to religion.

Yes, God exists. God can wear many maskes so we can relate and have a relationship - so some know God as Allah, others Vishnu, others the Son, etc. Each avatar/prophet brought God's message to his or her culture and time - so the message changes (as we can handle it - like Moses' law being updated by Jesus). The problem is - most think the message they believe is the only true message and the message can never change. They think the mask they worship is the only God. Really, all the religions lead to the same place - a direct relationship with God and awakening/enlightenment.
Nothing is impossible to God...but God wants us to desire nothing but God before reveiling Him/Her/It Self. Most could care less and want to do their own thing. Even those in churches, temples, etc, etc...are not that commited and yearn for other things (God give me this or that). For now, if you want to know the truth - you must find it for yourself...don't expect it to come to you.

*Man's response to death and the unknown is central to religion.
*For the people and spirits that control religion the name of the game is power based on true or imagined knowledge.
*Human life is in the blood.
Put the above three items together and it is easy to see why a blood bath has existed and why there are differences among religions. One must also consider ignorance and deception as factors.
As to God coming forward; His word and power is written in the heavens and in nature. His word is written in the Bible and countless other books. He came forward as the Christ in the person of Jesus and told the truth! And we crucified Him.
Men do not seek God, they walk away or run from Him. It is God who seeks and speaks to men, if only each man would listen.

I guess I can tell you from experience that god does exist. I cannot prove that logically with any kind of credibility. The differences in beliefs and religions are due to the differences in cultures, geological differences, etc. As for the third question, why don't YOU come forward and tell the truth?

1. yes
2. people decided God was wrong and invented codes and practices, or twisted His commands, or just made something up
3. God has come forward to tell the truth. He is the truth. He came 2007 years ago, He speaks through people....and btw, you can't see the Spirit part of God, only the Son part and Father part. Since the father has never been recorded leaving Heaven.....you can't see Him unless you get a dream, vision, or you visit Him. Since the Son makes amaterial visits in a limited time and space, only those around see Him.

1) Yes
2) There is only one true God. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Other religions claims are counterfeit.
3) He did come forward and tell the truth. The truth is in the Bible.
The bloodshed in the name of religion was usually about power.
