I'm a Celtic fan and to be honest I wanted Rangers to do well in the Uefa cup. I think Walter Smith came too late for Rangers to make any impact this season. Is it me or is the SPL becoming more competitive?

Its not really to bad as any rangers fan will tell u we r not expecting miracles to happen we have to be very paitent with the management team they have alot of to do after PLG ....to be outof Europe well my personal feelings r Walter Smith has never been good at tatics in europe but he always seems to get right in domestic fitbaw which is after all our bread n butter give it this season coming up and u will see big changes in our team couple of class signings and we will gie the MANKYMOB a beating to win the league we r the people

Well said they didnt ven get time to face a good team in europe be 4 they got knocked out. After their meanigless old firm win on sunday my moble got flodded with txts from rangers 'fans' who for all knew could have supported any1. After ths result i got no txts and they slid back under the radar not being a 'fan'. it just shows what that sort ar like they do not stick by them thro thck and thin like the parkhead faithful

We all live in hope but as a realist I think this Rangers team got further than I expected. I would hardly call a mid table team in possibly the best League in Europe mediocre. Certainly they are much better than that lot from Copenhagen who clubbed youse and gave you a hard time at the Tattie Shed.

They are probably resting their sore heads, after the beating they took......oh you mean the match, I thought you meant what was going on in the stands.

Well, I suppose they now realise that even though they fluked a win on Sunday and may well compete in the SPL next season, Walter Smith has returned and brought out their true European form and returned them to the status they enjoyed under him in the "Grory days".

yeah because a mediocre team means finishing fourth in arguably the best league in the world despite the fact they aren't performing as well this season
