Hello, I`m Canadian!! I would recommend taking VIA One, I know it`s more expensive but the comfort level is wayyy better. Not to mention, these passengers are more relaxed and they keep to themselves. I`m bipolar and I would rather be alone than talk to a complete stranger for 4 days. Not to mention there are really nice sleeping quarters and the service is awesome!!I just know, when you are mentally ill, you just want to be in a stress free environment. You can`t have that when you have another passenger`s kids screaming or someone trying to squeeze in beside you.

The DSM-IV-TR would not have "sensitivity to non-verbal cues" as portion of the factors for the diagnosis of any of the Bipolar issues. for my section, way too a lot of human beings are on condition that diagnosis for exhibiting some gentle indications of mania, at the same time as having a background of melancholy. people who use methamphetamine or cocaine...the two certainly one of which mirror mania in habit and physiological reaction, must be ruled out. of path, human beings employing those drugs tend to be slightly paranoid...and would pay very on the brink of non-verbal cues. possibly this is the difficulty :)

make sure that he is on a regular sleep cycle ( he will need to relax a little after the trip over and readjust) and make him take his meds . No late nights, maybe one or two, but not to 3 or 4 in the morning.

Isn't he on medication? If he is emotionally fragile, then I don't recommend that he go anywhere. He needs to talk to his therapist/doctor before he travels. He needs to be stable on his medications.
