Is it really true that what goes around comes around. Like if you do someone wrong more than likely someone will do you wrong. If you break a heart more than likely your heart will be broken. If you show kindness then eventually kindness will come your way. Is it true that you get what you deserve...eventually?

Isn't karma just some part of eastern religion and philosophy? As a Christian, I don't buy into the Karma thing myself.

I totally believe in karma. But you have it a little bit confused. Just because you break someones heart; doesnt mean your heart will be broken. Just the same as if you are extremely kind to someone; doesnt mean someone will be extremely kind back to you. If you put negative energy out into the world; negative energy will come back upon you. Its also not instant karma either. It might take until the last few days of your life; but it will eventually come back around. You might not even realize it either. Say you did something horrible to someone; and then later on in life you just have a majorly crappy day where nothing goes right for you. Theres your karma.

It's like JT song " What Goes Around Comes Back Around". Yes I agree that you get what you deserve eventually?. It's like you have to be careful about all the bad things you do in your life.

Yeah. What goes around will eventually come on back around and it may not happen in that form but it most defiently will happen. It makes sense where the saying "treat others the way u want 2 be treated" came from.

i'm sorry, mate, yet ur definition of Buddhist karma isn't even close to to the real Buddhist definition of Karma, besides as its operating. i'm no longer particular the position do u get that yet I recommend u to study more beneficial and revise that section in ur argument cz that's deceptive. Cheers.

Yes - but it does not work quite that way. If you do something that harms another you will have harm come to you in SOME way but not necessarily in the exact same way. For instance, you do something you KNOW is going to hurt someone and in the greater scheme of life you would have won something (lottery for instance) but now you do not. You may never even know that Karma kicked you in the butt.

Yes. Karma is for real. What goes around comes back around.

Yes it is true. We earn what we get in one way or another. This isn't always true, sometimes good people suffer and bad people win but on the average at the end it does balance out.

In my experience, yes! I had 1 girlfriend who I was deeply in love with and would only be my friend, and but always lead me on and treated me badly. I eventually got fed up after 2 years and stopped talking to her, she really broke my heart. A few years later, she showed up on my doorstep and told me how much she loved me and wanted to be with me forever. Not proud of it, but I kinda used her and eventually she got really hurt and fed up and left. So we were even in terms of Karma.

Another girlfriend who I was also in love with, treated me pretty bad, even borrowed $200 and never gave it back. And too, a few years later I got a check in the mail for the money and she asked me to call her. I did, and she said it was the biggest mistake of her life. She was still in love with me and wanted to get back together. I already had (still have) a girlfriend now, so I declined. But she was heartbroken and said she got what she deserved for being so mean in the past.

Short answer, yes! I believe if you lie to someone, they are going to lie to you. If you treat people good, eventually you will be treated good as well.

Yes I belive it is. We had a family live across the street from us. They were our "friends". Except that they stole from us all the time. After we stopped talking to them, they got $4000 worth of stuff stolen from one of their storage garages. So yeah, whyat goes around comes back aorund.
