me and charlotte, i've mentioned charlotte before. have only been together for 4 days. she's been through a divorce in the last 12 months and her nan is having her leg removed
what can do to help charlie, i don't want to intrude, but i don't want this to effect me and her.

Ask her if she wants to talk about it. Don't get really into her business, but also don't act like you're not there for her. Also, don't bring it up unless she wants to talk about it.

Just be with her. All you need to do is be with her, nothing fancy.
Try coming over to her house with some lasagna or something that you made that you can heat up, and let her know that you're there, and she can talk to you.
What she really needs now is unconditional support, stability and love. It will be hard on you too. She needs a shoulder to lean on and an endless supply of hugs and kisses.

Try sending her some flowers and a card letting her know that you are there for her.
Find out if there is anything you can do to ease the stress for her at the moment.

Be a shoulder to cry on, be there for her. Before i met my partner, I met her on the internet and used my shoulder to cry on when her 2 kids go taken into care ,and we got together and we now live together, we love the bones of each other.

Just be there for her, maybe take her out to a nice quiet dinner at home.. let her ramble and LISTEN..... and comfort her as much as you can...and see that when her mother looses her leg you get mom some flowers

like your still a new-couple, and i know you probably care about her, but just try to be there for her when you can.
