Yes, many times. I don't think it's a good diet plan if you are looking to loose a lot of weight and keep it off. It is a temporary fix - you will loose a few pounds simply because you are restricting what you eat, but as soon as you stop, the weight will come back on.
Instead of using slimfast as a diet plan, I like to use the shakes as meal replacements when I'm on the go. Also, if you feel like you have gained a pound or two, a week on slimfast should do the trick!

I hate to say it (I'll explain why later) but I did lose about 35 pounds on the slim fast diet. I'm a 5'9" male that weighed 195, but got down to 160 after a few months. What I'd do is have a shake for breakfast, a shake for lunch, and then have a normal dinner. Yeah, I lost a lot of fat, but I also lost a lot of muscle, so I still didn't look all that great. I've finally gained a lot of that muscle back, but it's not that easy.

The real benefit of being on Slim Fast, or for that matter, any diet that you get into is that if you follow along with it religiously for an extended period of time, you will learn a certain degree of discipline that you didn't have before. It becomes easier to turn down fatty stuff, and to make better decisions.

So, the great thing about Slim fast is that it's extreemely simple, and if you follow it religiously, it will work. The bad news is that it's not the best for your body as opposed to a low fat low carb high protein diet. However, this is harder to do, and if it doesn't work for you, you might want to try out something that does work, and is something you can follow. When starting dieting, it's 90% willpower, 10% knowledge. As you go to more specialized and effective diet plans, it becomes 10% willpower, 90% knowledge, due to that extra measure of discipline you gain.

Yes I did, I used to drink 1 or 2 shakes a day, but did not loose any weight. I lost 1 stone this year by cutting carbs and eating more veggies (and some excercise as well), without the need for any Slimfast or other diet products

Yes, I've tried it but I wouldn't suggest it unless you want to eat slimfast products for the rest of your life. I lost 10lbs on it yrs ago as soon as I stopped it all piled back on.

I would suggest though is to have their products casually like as a snack or if lets say your on the run grab a slim fast for break fast. The only benefit is that sf has lots of vitamens and fills u up. Other than that I wouldn't eat it every day 3x a day or what ever. Just have it once in a while

I tried this last year, I lost a stone in the first 2 weeks then 3 pounds for 3 weeks after, I did this with 30 minutes exercise a day.
I was hungry for the first couple of days but I was eating a smaller unhealthy meal instead of a healthy meal, so I switched to an healthier meal and wasn't hungry.
After 5 weeks of this diet I went on holiday but I changed my eating habits and kept the weight off.
But I started to put weight back on after 4 months because I started eating too much ''bad'' foods again.

i've got purely standard one guy or woman that attempted it. He grow to be huge!!! rather of employing it as a meal replace he only added it to each and all the failings he ate. He used to pass to 7-11 at lunchbreak and get an order of chili cheese nachos and a pint of ice cream and then wash it down with slimfast. humorous, it did no longer look to paintings for him. I used a weight loss plan referred to as Mastercleanser, it fairly is low fee( you combine it up your self) and in case you stick to the guidelines and don't cheat you loose weight genuine rapid. I lost fairly much 70 pounds in under 3 months. Google seek it. Mastercleanser.

Yes, I have tried it, but it gave me headaches, and it was suppose to keep you full up to 4 hours, YEAH RIGHT, i actually craved more food when I was on the slim-fast diet. It also gets very boring, and you practically starve yourself through the day which causes you to over-eat at dinner. If you want to lose weight and be on the slim-fast diet, you will definately have to stick with it, and exercise, exercise, and exercise. Drink plenty of water - if you start to crave some food during the day, drink water - a lot of people mistake hunger for thirst. Good Luck.

Yes, I lost a couple of pounds but got so miserable and groggy, feeling irritable and fat!! Plus, when I stopped doing it, I put it straight back on, with some more on top of that!! If you want to lose weight, I advise changing your attitude towards food and exercise (ie. eating healthily, exercising, drinking lots of water, etc) rather than just changing the behaviour and going on a "diet". I am on Weight Watchers and while it may not work for some, it has educated me on learning the better foods to eat and the best exercise to do etc. I'm not on commission by the way lol.

Hope this helps!

it used to be that you drank one shake for a meal and nothing else, but they changed it to a shake and something to chew. I like the website for their tips and support. I lost a lot on the diet and kept most of it off. it was my fault I gained some back. it's good for losing after a baby or for a special occasion. use the info on the site to get started, but don't depend too much on their products. read all you can on weight loss and diets and use what you can live with.
