Tell me...what danger will befall these children who are dabbling in the occult?
How much do you actually know about the occult personally?

If you give your children a standard of conduct that you follow and you make sure they understand that it is the same standard that you hold to.
Here's the thing, YOU have to know what you are talking about when you talk to them about things like Ouija boards and spells. These days children will not only question you, they will fact check you, this is the age of information. Have enough respect for your kids to know what you are talking about.
If you truly do not know what are "tools of the devil" and which are just an alternative religious view, how can you teach them?

You do realise that more than half the world's population thinks your religion is wrong, right? To most people, Christianity is just as 'occult' as any love spell. So where the hell do you get off trying to push your religion on children?
Ouija boards and love spells are bullshit, but they're certainly not dangerous. Ouija boards are applications of the ideomotor effect, and love spells are applications of wishful thinking. Neither are tools of your imaginary devil.

nicely first of all, once you're posting in Yahoo solutions, assume solutions from each and every person, this contains people of your faith and others. i'm an atheist, and that i'm in no way going to circulate off on you for having a faith. on your question, it sort of sounds like she's in touch in some sort of paganistic perspectives. the way she is appearing corresponds to in keeping with hazard LaVeyan Satanism or Qliphoth. you're able to do considered one of two issues. one million. communicate over along with her. Ask her why she is doing those issues. If she does not supply passable answrs (i.e. "i do no longer comprehend what you're talking approximately"), press somewhat and modern your evidence. If this information disturbs you, there is extremely no longer something you're able to do. it extremely is a loose united states of america in spite of each and every thing. 2. permit her do as she needs. Is she hurting people? Is she prejudiced? If no, then she is loose to coach as she pleases. yet, as your daughter is under 18, you have administration. yet, from journey as a spiritual Roman Catholic till the age of twenty-two, preaching does not paintings and actually pushes her farther away. wish this helped somewhat.

My first instinct was to say: Give them the Word of God, but let me tell ya this;
When I was a teenager, we went to Woodstock (the real one) and parents had a fit. We went to Black Sabbath concerts and parents had a fit. We had ozzie pictures hanging in our bedrooms, and our parents thought we were satan worshippers.
And, the more our parents freaked out, the better it was.
All kids want to defy and even shock their parents. Every generation has its own story to tell.
Just tell your kids the facts: explain to them whats real and whats not.
Explain to them that there are some things that are dangerous and others that are just
nothing more than marketing gimicks, like the ouiji board.
Whatever you do, though, DO NOT LIE TO KIDS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT STUPID. Tell them that the most powerful source is God Himself. Tell them that there are negative energies, or spirits, in the world as well, but that it is dangerous to tap into those, and why.
You have to tell them the truth, because don't forget that theres a whole world out there ready to sway them another way, and to prove you wrong, so if you don't give them the correct information, they will never listen to another word you say for the rest of your life.
An open communication with your children is your only defense against the hundreds of dangers in the world just waiting to take a bite out of your kid.

Give them a good reality based education in mathematics and science. Then they'll come to see that anything with supernatural claims is just baloney.

ouija boards are nonsense..... they are merely an exploition of the ignorant.... what people think is satan or the dead is actually caused by an involuntary muscle movement often refered to as the ideomotor effect
once again science and common sense to the rescue.... sheesh

Statistically speaking, I think you'll find that the death rate resulting from being a Christian has historically been much higher than that for being an occultist
