My scale always goes up and down. I eat healthy, walk and go 2 the gym but for the past 2wks I have only walked. Last weak I ate pretty good. This week im not walking much and im eating like a slob. Who do I get back on track and stay on track? The wks that I was doing good I allowed my self a piece of candy or piece of cake or what ever I wanted so that I would be in control and not binge. I still binge anyway!!! :(

Measure yourself and write the measurements down.
I joined Weight Watchers and one of the things that kind of stuck after 1 of the meetings was that people say that they will start their diet tomorrow. And then she said 'what's wrong with starting today?' So what if you had a bad lunch, there is no reason that you can't start right now. Get back on track and make easier goals. 5 pounds. When you lose 5 pounds, reward yourself. Take a bubble bath, indulge in some nice sheets, go get a pedicure/manicure. NON FOOD rewards.

Good Luck!

Don't be so hard on yourself ! We all have the same problems more or less. And who hasn't had a binge if one cares to remember Xmas for instance. However the problem is to get back on track the sooner the better. You could try motivation posters pinned in appropriate places. There are some really good posters available. The gym I go to has some that are quite inspiring and take one to a higher level.Posters of the sea, the forest, sunrise, sunset; choose some that inspire you perhaps change them at times to provide a new incentive.Rewards!ha when you have achieved some improvement try to go for fruit maybe something luscious tropical...better for you than cake and does not contain as much fat or sugar which can motivate a bingeing spree so be warned and be smarter and don't go down this track....

Accept that we are not perfect and that keeping a healthy body is a LOT of hard work. As such, do nto be afraid to reward yourself for it. Keep up the workouts, if you have a bad week, then make sure your diet that week balances it out. I am going through the same thing right now. After losing 40 pounds in 3 months, I have been struggling to make sure I keep up the healthly lifestyle. One of the things I do is try to make sure I workout as normal and as for my diet, if I am really good during the week, I give myself a few cheat meals on the weekends. The main thing is don't lose track of the big picture. IT'S OKAY to not be perfect, just keep on track and remember how much progress you have been making! Good luck to you! It sounds like you are doing fantastic.

people who write down what they eat and drink and what exercise they do lose more weight. keep a simple journal to prevent calorie amnesia. I got a cheap notebook from WalMart and write down what I eat and how many calories, how much fluid I take in, and what exercise I do for each day. there are fancy journals you can buy at book stores, but that's a waste of money. these sites are good for other helpful tips.
