two nights ago i had a tick on me which i took off easily (i didn't think it had bit me. i have had lots of ticks before, and this one i didn't have to PULL off if you know what i mean). The next morning where the tick was i had a huge bump and it was itching.
I didn't think it had bit me, but maybe it had started to. I don't have a red ring around it, but the swellingness is still there today, and its still itchy.
Should i be worried or go to the doctor? Or is it no big deal and i shouldnt worry about it?
Thanks!

I would give it a couple days before I went to the doctor. Just be sure to watch for any rash or other unusual reactions. It may simply be that you are experiencing a simple reaction.

Good luck.

I would keep and eye on it but is there a chance that it's a mosquito bite and the tick just happened to be in the same place, or poison ivy, etc... Doesn't sound like a tick bite. Keep benadryl on it and neosporin or the like and watch for any changes. Take some immune boosters to prevent potential illness, echinecea is good for that and for hypericum both available at good health food store, I never buy vitamins and supplements at grocery or drug stores unless they are trusted names not store brands or gnc they are not worth any money... If you have any silver ointment that would be great.

Good Luck

I would go to the doctor if the swelling and itching don't stop soon, or if the rash develops and you get a fever and/or flu like symptoms ticks are know for having Lyme disease but the can also have other things.

Just put toothpaste on it to knock lump down.
Or try the easy soothing method, take an aloe plant and put on tick bite and put bandaid over it.
Its just a tick bite, its that season, use SSS avon oil.
