if you have sinus problems during your flu, this can cause you to have tooth aches. sometimes people become afraid that they have developed a cavity, but after they get over their cold or allergies, their teeth feel much better.

It's possible, depends on how long you've had the abscessed tooth and how bad the infection is. The virus/bacteria could eventually travel to other areas of your body and cause a cold/flu. However, it's more likely that you have the flu as well as an abscessed tooth. Hope that helps. Feel better soon!

I suppose you can ache everywhere with most infections. When I get a head cold or, rarely, the flu, my jaws and teeth ache like hell. I don't know why exactly, it would be interesting to find out!

Well, it can certainly cause your bones and muscles to ache, so I don't see why flu can't be a cause of toothache as well.
To be on the safe side, try switching to Colgate Total toothpaste. It really does work well at killing mouth germs, and will get out of any toothache caused by infected gums.

If your sinuses are clogged it can definitely cause your teeth to hurt. My teeth are always very sensitive when I'm sick because of that.
