If you have been dating a girl for about three months and you two were going to a funtion together that reqires you to somewhat dress up, would you think it was wierd if you girlfriend bought you a new shirt to wear? What if the shirt color matched you girlfriend's dress?
Is that too soon to be buy your boyfriend's clothes?
I am just curious how guys would feel about this. Just so you know, it is common for the couples to kind of match at this event.

If she bought me a shirt, I'd think it was nice. If the shirt matched her dress, I'd run away as fast as I could. I'd think she was psycho.

I might find it a bit odd that my shirt matched your dress. But if your gonna get that past him it will most likely happen in the first three months f a relationship when he is most amenable. I wouldn't think you would be too successful as time went on.

Go for it. I take it as a sign my girl is into me and cares how I look and three months is perfectly fine to buy a shirt or anything else. It's a nice gift.

i would say there is nothing wrong with having your gf buy you clothes. i think that it is nice, as long as the function was very dress i wouldnt have a problem wearing the same color. if it was casual then i would select a different color but one that is similar

It is not weird to buy him a shirt....for it to match your dress, then yes, it is weird. Howabout a tie that matches your dress.....its much better and less creepy.
