Well that is the most idiotic thing I have ever heard. You do not want to become anorexic. It's a disease and a behavior that's hard to beat. Why don't you take a look at some anorexics. Do you want to become so sickly? Anorexia takes a horrible toll on the body. It effects almost every part of your body. The most tragic and severe will result in death. It's not healthly. If you want to lose weight the healthy way, screw the diets. Diets are crap. To lose weight cut out unhealthy foods such as fast food, and foods high in cholestoral saturated fats and sugar. Also, excerise at your target heart rate for about 60-90 minutes a day for at least 3 days a week.

Anorexia is in fact, a physiological disorder. It starts in the brain when the serotonin receptors malfunction and the brain gets caught in a stress "cycle". So if you want to become anorexic, you have to be a manic depressive. And anorexics don't want to be anorexic. It puts a major stress on the entire body, including weakening your heart. Not to mention it disrupts your cognitive thinking and decision making and it carries a whole other load of psychological disorders with it.
You can't "become" anorexic - and it is not something to be taken lightly. Being anorexic is not a solution to diet failure. I think you are sadly misguided about this often fatal DISEASE.
If you really want to lose weight, dieting is not enough. You have to exercise and change your whole lifestyle. If anyone tells you that you can lose weight by still maintaining your current eating habits, they are only trying to sell you something. You have to make a LIFE CHANGE in order to lose weight. Focus on making yourself better instead of this foolishness of wanting to be anorexic.

Trying to be anorexic when you are not is hard. If you have tried dieting then I don't know how you are going to become anorexic. Anorexics don't eat. They have no desire to eat. Most are afraid of getting fat so they starve themselves. If you do get to the weight you want to and then try to eat by then your stomach will have shrunk and food will make you sick. Sorry but I wouldn't recommend being anorexic if diet doesn't work.

You've had enough of dieting, so you want to starve yourself??? Your final chance to do what? Do you have a month to live or something? You sound like a total wacko.
Here's how to become an anorexic...stop eating. Forget about the diets...just cease to eat. Hey, if you want to screw up your life on purpose, who am I to stop you?....it's a free country....be as stupid as you want to.

Anorexia nervosa is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes an eating disorder characterized by low body weight and body image distortion with an obsessive fear of gaining weight. Individuals with anorexia often control body weight by voluntary starvation, purging, vomiting, excessive exercise, or other weight control measures, such as diet pills or diuretic drugs. It primarily affects young adolescent girls in the Western world and has one of the highest mortality rates of any psychiatric condition, with approximately 10% of people diagnosed with the condition eventually dying due to related factors. Anorexia nervosa is a complex condition, involving psychological, neurobiological, and sociological components.
Anorexia is a life threatening condition that can put a serious strain on many of the body's organs and physiological resources.

I've contemplated this question myself. I know how you feel, you just give up and food has become so controlling that you just feel like you want to give it up and not deal with it anymore. Truth is, whether you want to hear it or not, you need food to live. You will eventually die not eating, it is common sense.
Your right, diets don't work. But eating healthy and exercise does. Talk to your doctor or join a program like Weight Watchers. These people have the tools and knowledge that can get you started on the right path.

First off, anorexia is a an eating disorder, not a severe diet. You need to be psychologically pre-dispositioned for this. Secondly, most people simply don't have the self-discipline to deny their body the food it needs to that extent. If you having issues staying on a diet, this will never work for you.

if you spent two weeks consuming UNLIMITED, pasta, rice, noodles, vegetables, fruit, cereals and plain yoghurt, i feel sure you could make a difference and especially as you re taking dance classes...
don't forget if you're starting those dance classes you'll need all the energy you can get so fresh and dried fruit are really good for this... and the cereals combine essential vitamins that you might be missing out on otherwise, you cant dance without energy!

lol. i have a sensible solution. chew lots of gum, get your mind off food in any way possible. be active, in anything. so long as your not sitting at your computer right now thinking about that bag of chips in the kitchen. i find that happends a lot, but when i focus on a hobby or activity i sometimes forget to eat a meal. that is the easiest way. distract yourself from food. its tought, and sometimes impossible, but hey, it worked for me. gl.
