well the game he is playing is called the "back up girl game" guys and some girls do this all the time they date someone and they like you but they think they can do better so they end it and go looking for some new meet. and when they are Alone they have about 2 or 3 back up girls they can get with when they are alone and then they end it when they find someone new i have had this happen a couple times and then i had a Friend tell me why they were doing this and i have never gotten back with another ex ever

well it really depends if you want to put your self back in the situation... you could just tell him you are not ready to deal with all the fighting and you would like to take things slow and just hang out and see what happens
