No you shouldn't.
Smelling them is one thing, rolling on them the same, but eating them = very expensive vet bills, heartache and grief !!

No you shouldn't! They are a member of the onion family and toxic for cats or dogs in quantity! The cat will at the least have an upset tummy and get sickness or diarrhoea or it could prove fatal!
Size is no indication of the individuals tolerance level! I have a large dog that becomes dangerously ill if she eats a small amount of potato (same family as onion/leeks) yet smaller dogs or cats have eaten the same or more(usually carelessness on my part as allowed them access to unsuitable food I don't give them it intentionally) with no ill effects shown!

I had a little skinny cat called Bogle, she would demolish a quarter pond bag of mushrooms at a sitting. When she had kittens she went and had 8 kittens - I dont know how they all fitted in her tiny little belly.
So let your cat eat leeks - she must enjoy them.

NO, NO, and a thousand times NO. Leek are onions and onions are extremely toxic for cats causing a fatal anemia. Other plants from the nightshade family, such as potatoes or garlic should also not be eaten by cats.

Cats love onions--but please do not let your cat eat them. My cat died in December from hemolytic anemia--the specialist told me that onions can cause this disease. This is a horrible disease that takes them down fast. Before my cat got sick--I didn't know that onions were toxic. I cook alot and use garlic and onions--they were on my kitchen counter lots of times---I just wish I would have known.
I miss him so much. He was my baby.

Let her eat them. My cats eat the chives I have growing in the flower pot inside. I have to make sure the cats can't get to them all the time or they would be chewed right down to stubs constantly.
I used to have a cat who loved potato peelings.
Usually cats are pretty smart about not eating things that would harm them.

Well they're kinda poisonous my cat ate a petal from a bunch of lillies in my house and the vet was like "she's going to die..." I felt SO bad I didn't even know that lillies were poisonous, but she lived and was okay. Thankfully. Just... don't let her do it anymore okay?!

Why not, one of mine had a passion for tomatoes. I've got a cat now that loves bolognaise.

Most cats and dogs are deathly allergic to onions, and their relatives. I wouldn't give them to your cat.

Hiya, If she wants them let her try them she may only like the smell and want to roll in them. My cat Bob eats potato peelings or if i leave a bag of potatoes unattended he rips them open and eats the potatoes.
