You point out the flaws of others, you discriminate against them, you generalise that all muslims are bad, yet you will never admit your own flaws or mistakes.
Christianity is not perfect. Islam is peaceful. It's about time people grow up, educate themselves, and realise its actualy a political issue, not religious.
"Christian terrorism is terrorism carried out in the name of furthering Christian goals or teachings. Another widely used term is Christian extremism." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_terrorism)
We all know that there are many Christian terrorists and many intolerant ones too.

THE MYTH & THE REALITY

You say we Muslim women are opressed and treated badly? Take a look at what versus in the Bible say about women and what versus in the Quran say about women regarding the same issues.

p.s. sorry for the " most Christians." My intention was not to be biased. But its frustrating to be thought of as a terrorist when you ARE peaceful !
I do have Christian friends, but they are arabs and amongst Muslims so they know that we are actualy peaceful.
I am a muslim woman. Yes, i do have all my rights. No, i am not circumcised. No, men dont order me around, abuse me, or beat me up. yes, i love Islam, and yes i do view it as a peaceful religion.

By the way,,, ever heard of the Sharkas?
( this if for the girl who said christians in muslim countries are killed and treated like dogs)...they fled from their countries because they were threatened to be killed if not converted to Christianity. We have many christians here, we all respect each other, and they have their full rights. And i have christian friends and some are like my sisters.

first of all of u people who are answering apparently didn't read the article about muslim women vs christiano womern
second of all Muslims do not cercumcise girls so please go educate ur self . Read a book or something .
Islam is not a relegion of killing . we are only asked to kill inorder to defend ourlives . In our relegion whoever kills some1 should be killed and is going to hell . in the other hand Christians who kill people wont go to hell cuz supposedly all their sins were forgiven *rolls eyes* so all u christian people out there go do whatever u want : kill , steal , cheat , lie ....... etc. cuz all ur sins are forgiven.
when u look at the Islamic hisrtory u'll see that they treated other relegions with 4givness , compassion and equality . Whereby crusaders got Jerusalem flooded with muslim blood when they took over it .
even now Muslims are not being treated equally in non-muslim societies . Infact they are being discriminated against . such as muslim female students who wear the viel are being banned from going to their schools in france . where christians who wear the cross has no problem goin to their schools .
I admit some muslims are applying Islam wrongfully in their lives such as Osama bin Laden and co. but that doesn't make every Muslim a terrorist . so people should be aware o confusing Islam and terorrism . I think the media has a huuuuuge part on that aspect .it helps the U.S. governmenet with their supposed "war on terrorism" by getting the masses to think all muslims are terrorists so they can put their hands on muslim contries by saying they r waging a war on Islam.
one last thing , If u say muslims are terorrists then u r describing almost one thord of the population of the world . as we all know Islam is the fastest growing Relegion in the world , all those people wouldn't convert to Islam if they didn't think it was a relegion of love , peacefull , 4giveness and compassion .
I rest my case .

I never say anything bad at all against any Muslim and have deep respect for those who has dep love in God and for their neighbor.
Go to the Philippines. It's predominantly Christian but Ive heard they are very tolerable of people of other sects and beliefs. They rank in the top 5 most happy countries every year yet they are a poor nation. Can you say that they, where majority are Christians, are hypocritical?
There are bad Christians, bad Muslims, etc. but at the same time there are people with good hearts. I play football and I don't care if you are Muslim, non - Christian, etc. if you are in my team or in the opposing team....If I couldn't see my own flaws and mistakes, I have no need to excel in what I like.
Yes there are both Christian and Muslim terrorists but for crying out loud, they are still TERRORISTS and they will kill you anyway if you are not with them.
Christians are just people as well. I'm sorry if you have experienced people who are major pain on this site. I have too, so you arent alone.
God Bless,

We ALL dont say that ALL Muslims are terrorist. We just agree that Muslims who terrorise are terrorists, like Christians who terorrise are terrorists but NOT ALL Muslims, Christians or people in general are terrorists, only those that terrorise.
I personally believe that Christianity is perfect, peaceful and can get you into the Kingdom of Heaven because I believe there is no other way but through Christ Jesus.
I think the Islamic faith is still stuck in the Old Testament/Old Covenant of the Bible where as Christians who want to be saved have accepted Jesus Christ's Salvation which is the new covenant.
The New Covenant/New Testament doesnt allow a man to hit his wife like the Koran.

In the end, aren't we all hypocrites on some level or another? I for one feel that we are. Even if we dont want to admit our flaws they still exist. even your question is hypocritical...you say that Christians think all Muslims are terrorists, and yet you try and give on example of how all Christians are terrorists. Quite a paradox isn't it?
As far as bashing Muslims or saying that all Muslims are terrorists...I dis-agree with your statement. You need to remember that just because you read some fanatic of any religion claiming that, take it with a grain of salt.

Adolf Hitler may have claimed to have been a Christian, but he was the furthest thing from it. He was an evil person, and if Satan ever did walk the earth, he was hiding in Adolf Hitler's body! Not all Christians think or say that all Muslims are terrorist. Christian or not, anyone who says or believes that is completely ignorant. So please don't imply that. I don't blame Muslims for 9/11, I blame extremest and Al Quida who happen to be Muslims, but I certainly don't fault every Muslim around the world for what happened. I think your belief that 9/11 was an inside job is ridiculous, but you're entitled to feel however you want. I wouldn't give lose change a whole lot of credit on their claims of uncovering the truth behind 9/11. I've seen their "Facts" and they are easily able to be discredited. They are paranoid and believe the Government is out to get all of us, and they are desperate to spread their theories. Sorry, just because they claim 9/11 was an inside job, that doesn't make it so!

It is a generalization to state that most Christians are hypocrites and say that all Muslims are terrorists. I think most Christians DON'T believe the way you claim they do. No religion is perfect because they are all made up of people and no people are perfect. So many wars are fought in the name of God and religion...it is very sad.

You make some valid observations, but are confusing condemned historical accounts of atrocities committed in the name of Christianity with the theologies of Islam.
To me the most vital thing Islam needs is some centralized authority speaking out against the acts of the radicals. Unfortunately, Islam is very non-hierarchical, so there is no central group of perceived leaders of the Islamic faith that speak with one voice and condemn the actions of the heretical.
Where is the public outcry from Islam's theologians over the acts of these radicals? It is missing in the media and the silence among the leadership is deafening to the observers on the sidelines.
If Christian radicals were performing the acts that we see Islamic fundamentalists doing, there would be a world outcry among the leaders of Christian organizations condemning these persons as heretics. It would be in all the newspapers, television, etc.
Muslims are quick to point to the violence recorded in the Christian bible and claim that Christianity’s early history was violent, too. But unlike the Bible where some very awful HISTORY is recorded, the violence described in the Qur’an is part of Islamic THEOLOGY. This is a very significant distinction between the two belief systems.
The famous Muslim scholar and “father of modern history” Ibn Khaldun states the dichotomy between jihad and defensive warfare thus:
In the Muslim community, the holy war [i.e. jihad] is a religious duty, because of the universalism of the Muslim mission and the obligation to convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force... The other religious groups did not have a universal mission, and the holy war was not a religious duty for them, save only for purposes of defense... They are merely required to establish their religion among their own people. That is why the Israeilites after Moses and Joshua remained unconcerned with royal authority [e.g. a “caliphate”]. Their only concern was to establish their religion [not spread it to the nations]… But Islam is under obligation to gain power over other nations (The Muqudimmah, vol. 1 pg. 473).
I believe Islam is going through what the Christian faith went through during the Reformation. During the Reformation religious leaders were forced to carefully define their doctrines, that is, what do Christians really believe? This established a baseline of orthodoxy that then could be used as a litmus test for the practices of self-professed Christians.
Islamic leaders must do the same thing. They must codify their acceptable theologies, especially the violence now part of the Sharia, Muhammad’s Sunna (4:24, 4:92, 8:69, 24:33, 33:21, 33:50), and the “sword-verses” of the Qur’an (e.g., 9:5, 9:29). Then Muslim leaders should defend these theologies against heretics loudly and publicly.
I have found the non-Christian religions, such as Islam, to be philosophically indefensible, being internally incoherent or undermining human reason and experience. To better understand Islam, I suggest you review the following sites:

You say that Islam a religion of peace look at the bombing all around the world it's done by the Muslim. Muslim cannot become a minority population in other country they must be the majority if not they will revolt. Muslim from different denomination can't even live peacefully with each other just look at the Syiah and sunah. In Afganistan the Muslim beheaded they own people just because they do not share the ame point of view. And yet Christian that came from diverse denomination can sit a long side by side with each other and live peacefully they don't engage in violence to destroy the other denomination church.

WOW! Do you feel better sweetie??
I am a christian and I have no problem with Muslims. I don't think they are ALL terrorists at all. Why are you saying "Christians"?
I know that all Christians aren't the same or share the same opinion.
If I be in a situation where a Muslim needed help, I would help them in a heartbeat. We as Christians can't judge nor condemn people. I don't agree with your statement because as a christian I don't do what you say "Christians" do.
I just don't agree with the Muslim believes, but they are people like you and me, we all have blood inside of us and the same. I hope you are clear now.

I agree with the fact that some Christians are terrible hypocrites.
Yes, I have heard numerous times that Islam is peaceful, I'm sure it is, but we do have an awful lot of Islamic terrorists (to use your terminology) as well as Christian ones, just that the Islamic ones actually kill people. Christian terorism is also an awful thing.
So basically, both religions have their flaws, yes?
