There must be 6 questions like this a day on answers, I try to post an answer to all of them, in the hope that I might convince one or two of you lunatics not to do it! In the UK at least no steroids can or should be available without a doctor's prescription. Unfortunately the net, which I love using, has however made a mockery of this.
It is fascinating to read the reassurances that there are no risks from anabolic steroids, displayed on sites that sell them. They have presumably never had a relative have an early stroke or heart attack.
Side effects of anabolic steroids include : raising blood pressure, raising cholesterol, (both of which increase cardiovascular disease), physical damage to the heart itself, premature baldness, liver damage, the formation of breast tissue in males, liver damage, impotence, shrinking of the testicles and infertility. Women can become hairy, develop a deep voice, and growth can be stunted in adolescents. They also increase both agression and depression.
So if you would like to spend your life as a depressed, short bald guy with small testicles, boobs and impotence who has an heart attack, this is the way for you!

Yes. They can cause major health problems, both mentally and physically. My friend Parker Chamberlain murdered his mom. He was on steroids really hardcore. He went psycho. He's in prison. He was 16 and was trialed as an adult. You can read his story online.

It can really change peoples attitudes and also is not very good with sperm. I think if used a tiny bit they are ok but if it used allot it can have allot of bad effects in later life. I watched a tv show about a bloke who took lots of steroids and his arm blew up (im not joking) it made me feel a little ill watching the show.

If you are talking about the anabolic steroids people abuse in sports then yes severely so - agitation, aggression and depression i hope you are not taking these and suffering. If you are talking about prednisolone prescribed by a specialist for a variety of different medical conditions namely asthma then no.

Yes they could. Physical agressiveness has been attributed to steroids. Suicidal tendencies also are associated with steroid use.
