my question is is ozone bad for u . my senario is that my girl works at a water store where they use reverse osmosis to clean the water and also to clean the water bottles . it really smells bad like ozone every time she opens the doors to her work . how do u know if its a high concentration in the air or not . because i dont want her working there if its really bad for her .

It is often confused with NO2 which is photo chemical smog. O3 is bad for u but it is more often O2 instead,which is very good to kill bacteria ,and is no problem for u.

Prolonged exposure to ozone is harmful. If you can smell it, you should not be around it too much.
