Hi what's up? So I'm new to this thing...and i figured i would ask a quick question to see what people's responses are :).

So I'm a second semester senior graduating June 18, 2007. I'm going to be attending Penn State in the fall of 2007. I'm curious to know if any of you ever felt a similar feeling that i am feeling right now.

Did you ever feel like you didn't feel like being in school? Or feeling very lazy like you did not care about school? I'm taking AP calc this year. I've gotten ALL A'S & a few B's in high school and right now I'm failing AP calc. It really is a struggle but even if i fail this marking period i know i would still pass so I'm not trying as hard as i normally would be. I can't help it. I have 8 abscesses already this year. But today i really am sick that's why I'm home :(

-has anybody else ever had a similar experience?
i just want to get out and go to college!

aaahhh senioritis! I had it bad my senior year. But I also wasnt planning on going to college right away like you are. Buck up... Put in the effort even though you dont want to. It makes you a stronger person if you do. Why dont you try and make some school work goals. Try to push yourself to get ahead of everyone else by doing future assignments or by doing extra credit stuff. Talk to your teachers so you can get ahead and have extra credit so your grade level doesnt go down hill when you are feeling lazy. If you are able to do that then you might be able to have fun and relax the rest of the semester and graduate.

In Mineola High in New York, it was called "Senioritis". All the seniors get lazy - after going to school for 13 or 14 years (if you went to pre-k) it occurs to us that maybe we ought to stop now. We've been working so many years, yet no one pays us for this work, and NOW we don't HAVE to go to school anymore if we don't want to.
What you need is a goal - a source of inspiration for what EXACTLY you want to do with your life. Once you have that, research it to see what you need to do to get there and IF it'll be like you think it is... and if it'll pay you enough.
I wanted to be a psychologist, but no one told me it would be another eleven years of school and a year to do my doctoral thesis and a year to study for my licensing exam and a year or two of interning so that I could get out and make no money.
I've been a cable guy, security guard, stock broker (twice - and I was good at it, but both my firms weren't good at keeping their word and paying me), and now I drive a truck - but I never kept up writing. No I write on the side and one day I will be published.
Good luck. Write me if you have any further questions.

Hey honey.

Well I'm a second semester senior too and I understand exactly what you're saying. I'm being so lazy this year. I only have 5 absences but they were not from being sick, they were from being too tired to go to school.

And I was supposed to do a project for my 4th period class that was due yesterday....and I didn't even start it.

I think it's just *senioritis*. It's our last year and we're just ready to leave already!

But hang in there...it's only a few more months away.

Yes, I felt this way before I graduated high school. In fact, I graduated one year early, but I had to prove to the school district that I was mature enough, along with having decent grades.

College is great. In fact, the pressure isn't as intense and you are treated like an adult rather than a big kid. Just push through it and don't loose steam, you'll make it!

(Ignore some of the arrogant people on here)
Its completely normal to feel like high school is pulling you down and you just want to get out! However, you have to remember that no matter how hard you want to get out and go to college, you can't without a high school diploma.

So, no matter how frustrated you might be, relax, work hard and do you're best and you'll graduate in no time! :)

You are tired. That is it. Relax and enjoy the little time you have left in high school. College is hard, it is not all fun and games. Every class wants you attention. Right now, I am a junior in college, and I am so close to just quitting right now. You think you are stressed right now? Just wait. Everything they teach you in high school, doesn't count to what you have to learn in college.

i imagine Gabriella Angel. That one's superb. i'm assuming charisma Gage is for a lady infant? Gage is oftentimes a guy's call, so i actually woldn't recommend making use of it until eventually she is having a boy. i don't like the call charisma both....possibly use Christina or Katelynn?

Absolutely. I'm really good in school but most of the time I just don't care. I have more important things to be doing.
