I want to shrink them using the oven or the grill but am not sure which one? I would like to use the design but in a smaller version.

Pop the packets on a piece of foil and then under the gril. It doesn't take long so you need to keep an eye on it. The packet will curl up so use a low grill tray or take the grill tray out and just use the pan

Most crisp packets are made from extruded plastic. You can shrink it using a hair dryer, but be careful not to get too close or you may get it stuck on the hair dryer.

put in a very hot oven. To shrink it must be the type that is silvered on the inside. You see it shrinking gradually. When it has shrunk enough for you, get a scraper an gently put it on the scraper and leave it to cool.

Try one of the George Forman grills ,,ya get a nice crinkly shape and all the fat drips into the tray , be carefull when moving the tray as all the fat might slop onto your counter
