How should I talk my dad into getting me a dog?

My brother and I have have wanted a dog for a really long time. How do I talk my dad into getting it for us?

if he's like my dad, he'll let u do whatevr. as long as u take care of it. 2 get a puppy is hard work. u have to train it thouroghly.

for the first two weeks u have the dog is when they devlop fear. make sure you are nice to it . dont hit it or do anything abusive because that will be fear to it. train it to go to the bathroom out side or your house will stink. if you want little poop, get a little dag like a shih tzu or a laso opsu. they are japanese toy dogs i do believe. get a boy if u can. they are more loving than girls. if u need ne thing else, e-mail me: [e-mail]

simple as pie. have ur mom go out and get the puppy. im sure ur dad will like the puppy as long as u take really good care of it and NEVER let it out of your sight unless its in its kennel. oh yeah, if u get a small dog, get a small kennel. this will be its safe place when it wants to be alone. dont stick your hand in its kennel. it wont evr think that it has a safe place to be then. it will come out when it is ready to come out. make sure that u take it out evrytime u take it out of the kennel and after evry meal. ps. yes, dogs have dreams. so dont wake them up too often when they dream.

I had the same problem.Start doing responsible things around the house. Turned out that my mom just didn't think I was responsible enough to take care of her! Also if you parents say "Where are we going to keep her, our back yard doesn't have a fence?" Just suggest a kennel for when you are gone and let her out when she needs to pee, or when you are outside! Hope this gets you the dog!

Okay.
I ALWAYS wanted a cute little puppy and i finally got one like two years ago.
But i had a good reason for getting it because its owners abused it, so we go it for free.
But you can tell your dad how much you want it.
I am a begger sort of.
I will do somthing really nice like clean the house then i would be like well, that deserves a new dog!
And my dad would just like do a little laugh.
But i would do it after almost everything.
Also say you will take care of it, feed it, clean up after it, walk it, train it etc.
Also tell him if you dont take good care of him for 1 week then he can give him away, (he never really would, a matter a fact, my dad fell in LOVE with my pug)

study, study, study. know a lot about worrying for a canines earlier you get one. tell him you know what you want to do to strengthen it nicely. possibly save money to purchase canines foodstuff, toys, and different belongings you may favor, including a crate so she would not run a muck. i imagine your dad would not want to finally end up searching after the canines or pay for each thing on your canines. you're 13 so there's a severe chance you received't care a lot for the canines in decrease than a year. practice him incorrect by ability of exhibiting him you're keen to pay for stuff. money talks. Tell him dog's are peoples best friends and they would never encourage drugs like a best friend may.
