**Start off with beginners and work your way up.

Study and use flashcards. Try to expose yourself to it as much as possible like going to restaurants and stores which may have that language so you will not feel like you are constantly studying. Keep a small notebook with all of the recent vocab you need to learn and you can also write words that you want to learn and later look them up when you have a chance, this gives you a chance to study a little when you have a moment of free time.

A very good tool that I picked up learning Korean is write a biography or a self introduction in English or your native language. Translate as much as you can and get it graded or get someone to look at it to make sure it is correct. As your vocab expands rewrite it and keep on adding newer vocab and get it graded. Since it is personal for you it will make the vocab easier for you to memorize. Also write as much as you can in a journal everyday. It really helps. Good luck.

Move to the country that speaks the language you want to learn. Right now I live in Miami so I'm picking up Spanish!

Go to a foreign country and learn and live with the native speakers. Sort of that, practice only using the second language in all of your conversations. (See, living in a foreign country helps best with this).
