*drinks* [is that 2 or 3?]
1) evolution is still occurring
2) man & apes evolved from a common ancestor, man did not evolve from apes
3) even if a species evolved from another, that does not mean the original species is extinct, just that a portion of the population was isolated and diverged to become anew species over time (such as the new species of cloud leopard they found on the island of Borneo. there are still the 'standard' cloud leopards, but some got isolated on an island and became genetically distinct.)

We are still evolving everyday. Although apes are still apes, no one really said that we actually are apes. Thats not the evolution that atheists belive in anyway. They belive in making a better place to live in, to evolve from what we made now and make it better

Do you know how often this question has been asked? I won't even bother answering the second part of the question.
Humans ARE still evolving. Why do you think that people that like in the mountains for generations are shorter? They do not grow as tall because there is less oxygen up in the mountains. Why do you think people are darker when they're in the sun a lot? To protect them from being burned as much. Why do you think people in colder climates have paler skin? So they're skin can absorb the nutrients of the sun whenever possible.
Your question is idiotic and redundant.

1. There is no evidence to suggest humans have stopped evolving. What brought you to that conclusion?
2. We did not evolve from modern apes, they, and we, evolved from a common ancestor which no longer exists.

Plenty of non-literalist Christians know (not believe) that evolution is a fact as plain as the nose on your face. There are dozens of transitional fossils for the human species alone. Facts don't cease to exist because you are told to ignore them.
You can't see something evolve by looking at it for a few minutes - one must look over hundreds, thousands, millions of years.
Human evolution: Our palates, tooth shape and digestive systems changing drastically from a changed diet over the last 200 years. Our resistance to disease is evolving away because of the use of modern medicine. People with chronic diseases are able to pass on their genetic tendencies to offspring - that was not the case in times past because they died young.. The list goes on and on.
Here it is - evolution in your backyard. Mow the lawn and insects too slow to get out of the way are selected out by your lawnmower. The ones that fly up to fast straight up get eaten by barn swallows that follow (my) lawnmower as I mow. So the ones that get to survive are making 2-3 foot bump jumps out of the way of the mower and into the grass low enough to avoid the birds. Natural selection at work, an incremental evolutionary change in the time it takes to mow.
We did not evolve from apes you see today. We have a common primate ancestor. The family tree split off into branches. The predesessor of apes went one way, we came out of the deep forest and we went another. Natural selection took over favoring the ability to eventurally walk upright, use more advanced tools, communicate, etc.
As for intelligent design, pure hooey. If our design was intelligent, why am I not an amphibian, breathing in water and air? Why do I drown in 1 minute? Why can't I fly? Where is my advanced sonar that bats have? Where are the eyes in the back of my head? Why does a 30 ft. fall kill me but not a bug or a cat? Why can a mosquito detect CO2 but I can't detect CO? Why can lots of insects see infrared spectrums but not me? Where is my night vision?
Evolution explains these design adaptation distributions perfectly while literalist Christians struggle with big questions like how did Noah get all the animals on a boat.

Um. You are shockingly uneducated about evolution. This question could only come from someone without a clue about evolution.
Go pick up a 3rd grade science book, then ask the atheists for their forgiveness.
You know, Jesus was the guy who said the thing about knowing people by their fruits. You've already shown basic science concepts to be too hard to understand, so I imagine religious concepts are something you are also ignorant of.

Who said all atheists believe in evolution?
Who determined man quit evolving?
Please try and educate yourself. Ignorance is not bliss.
If you don't understand why apes still exist, try actually studying evolution.

Ive seen some polls the place slightly below 50% of persons don't think that the concept of evolution is valid. virtually all of those are Christian. the stable information is that the extra knowledgeable a individual is, the fewer people have an issue with the concept of Evolution. in case you have been to ask a team of school graduates from all backgrounds over ninety% of them understand that each and every person primates developed from a undemanding ancestor.

Good question, add this.
If evolution is still occuring, where are the links between between man and what ever creature evolutionists think we came from? Where are the links between the animals of today and whaterver the evolutionists believe they came from?
No links-no linkage.
Also think about this. If people have been getting taller stronger and healthier in the last 500 years, do you think that maybe diet and medicine have had anything to do with it?
I believe God has blessed us greatly in the last several centuries since mans' "dark ages".
Do you think that maybe God is still in control?
