Hi everyone!
I just found out yesterday I am having a baby boy! NOW all I have to do is figure out a theme for his nursery. If it was a girl, I was going to do precious moments... but daddy will not allow for his boy to have a precious moments nursery!

Any cute ideas or themes others have used? I want it to be pretty simple not real busy... ???

you could do a simple jungle theme thats not too busy or I also like the Noah's Arch theme My sister did it for her son,

Or you could paint the room sky blue with clouds and put a sand layer at the bottom boarder and the Sun and decorate half of it with glow in the dark paint so when you turn off the lights it looks like a half moon and then put up the blue glow in the dark stars that will blend in with the blue paint during the day and glow during the night
which my sister did with her first child which turned out to be a girl but they didn't find out till she was born so it would have worked for either, she decorated the furniture also it looked nice

Congratulations! I just found out this morning that I too am having a baby boy.

I decided to surprise my husband and picked something near and dear to him - New England Patriots. They actually make NFL baby blankets, mobiles, clothes, the works.

I am buying navy, red and white bumper pads, bedding and sheets and adding the NFL accessories, including a football lamp and Patriots baby mobile.

Everything was picked out ahead of time in case we learned it was a boy. I told him about it now. He acted nonchalant, but I could tell that he was pretty pleased, especially that I had tried to do something that he would like.

I love the baby Noah's Ark theme, or just do a blue theme. With my last child we didn't know what we were having so we did a gender neutral with baby Sesame Street. None of them are busy and simple.

i decorated my sons nursery with precious moments. theres nothing wrong in that. its cute, simple and you wont have to redecorate when he is 4 or 5 because its not babyish.

I once saw a very nice theme that I would like to do myself. It was a light yellow room with bee's. That's right bee's. It looked really cute and the color made it look very soft.
(cartoon ones not scary bee's). Congratulations, and may he be everything you dreamed about.

I did the Noah's Ark theme for my son. Congrats on your little boy. There is no love like a son's love for his mom.
