I brought her home on Tuesday night. So far, since then she has only peed on a cat bed that I have (similar to the one that she was used to as her nest). She is acting perfectly normal, loveable and fiesty. The lady that I got her from said that she was eating the kitten food (bought the same brand- still nothing) and using the litter box (still hasn't). She hasn't even had a bowel movement yet, and I guess I'm just wondering if it's the stress of a new home, or something similiar. I know she doesn't have worms or fleas or anything of that nature. Does anyone have any advice?

To answer your question Shakes, she does drink a lot of water. in fact, that's what the owner told me.

Here are some pictures of her. Her name is Xerox.

I had my kitten before Christmas, she wasnt really into eating for a bit as she was more interested in looking around the house and the new environment etc. Try placing her by her food every so often so she knows its there and also pop her in ther tray too so she knows thats there too. If she doesnt start eating after another day as she so young i would take her to the vets for a check up. She probably ok but best to be on the safe side with such a young one. Also when my dog wouldnt eat i used to pick the food up and try hand feeding her she would sometimes eat it then. Good luck

She is so small and extremely cute. Maybe she is peeing in other places when you aren't looking. After she drinks water, place her in her box and try to keep her there for a minute or two. She probably won't need to poo until she eats something. Maybe she is just being finicky right now because of her new surroundings. You might try giving her some lamb baby food like Gerber's. Nothing with vegetables or gravy. If she still doesn't eat after another day you should take her to the vet. Good luck!

When we first got my cat he did not eat for four days!!
Is she drinking water? As long as she is drinking someone she is ok!! Cats will not starve themselves.
You are correct about the stress. From my experience cats take a few days to settle down so they feel comfortable. Then they eat and start having normal bowel movements again.
If it goes past three days and she has not eaten (or if she does not drink for 48 hours) take her to the vet.
