No, Jesus was not married. No, marriage is not a sin.
First, Jesus came to Earth to die for us. In the garden at Gethsemane you get a sense that he did indeed desire to have a life like us, but immediately follows it up with "Not my will, but thine." Plus, how evil would Jesus be if he married and left his wife a widow. I would also say that if he had been married it would have blurred the message and who he was.
Now, Paul gives some advice about marriage saying it is better for a person not to marry, but to give themselves fully to the service to God. But, he also says that it is better to marry than to burn with passion that will lead to sin. I think those in a forced celibacy fall victim to this quite often and you see it in the headlines.
I am more than willing to give you Bible references if you need them. Just send me a message.

We do not base our beliefs on what the Bible doesn't say, but on what it does say. Christ would have been breaking His own laws if He had been married because Christianity is very demanding on the responsibilities of a husband to his wife and family. The Bible teaches that a married man's interests are divided and the Bible also teaches that Christ's interests were very focused. Also Paul was not married so I am not sure how much marriage was the "norm" of the day.
The idea that a "rabbi" had to be married is totally erroneous, there is no teaching of that in the Bible at all.

Well religion as a whole is confused. Everybody has their own version of the truth. But if there is one thing that they all teach well is faith, that you must believe in what is said without questioning. So Now we are faced with this mystery which really does not make a difference if he was married or not. It would have only been according to logic that he was married. Though it is said that the Da vinci code is fiction I believe there is no smoke withou fire.
So I think it is a huge possibility he was, but would religion be the same with a married saviour?

It cracks me up that some fanatics turn to stone at the mere mention that Jesus may have not been a virgin. Why? I don't get it.
There is 18 years of his life missing in the bible. Why?
Jewish men of his time married young in arranged marriages, usually.
Was Judah the son of Jesus and Mary Magdalene? I'll bet the early church wanted to cover that up.

Well - the bible leaves out a mention of Jesus dating. Furthermore, the bible doesn't say that ate avacados. Is eating avacados a sin? I think that if Jesus had been married, even in the years unaccounted for, it would have been mentioned.

There is no evidence in the Gospels to indicate that he was.
St. John and St. Matthew were with Him every day. Ya think they might have mentioned it??
Or the Epistles of James, Peter, John? Not one SINGLE mention.
All of His other family members are mentioned. But no wife.
Why?
HE WAS NEVER MARRIED!

Marriage was not part of his mission.
He was concerned about the state of the hearts and minds of men. He came to deliver mankind from sin, offer salvation and a way of ecape from the righteous wrath of God, to all who would come to Him, in faith.

He almost certainly was married. He was a Rabbi, and, even today, all Orthodox Jewish Rabbis are married. So it would be unbelievable to imagine Rabbi Jesus of Nazareth being unmarried in the 1st century. He probably had kids too - almost all Orthodox Rabbis have children, and it's considered odd if they're childless.
