What casino is best to play low stakes poker in Tunica? I live nearby but am not sure which casino would have the best play for someone with low stakes.

I'm from there also.

I play at a few different places. Most of the casinos have $3 / $6 limit. If you want no limit, I know the Gold Strike, Grand, Hollywood and Sams Town have $1 / $2 no limit.
I like the Gold Strike. They have real tables and outstanding service.

Gold Strike has a No Limit tournament every Thursday morning at 11:00 that I play in. There's usually between 15 and 40 people. It's $45 buy in and 2 $15 rebuys.

If you're talking about low stakes, I'd recommend tournaments. You can find a tourney every day of the week in Tunica and never spend over $100 ( usually much less than that)

Subscribe to Card Player magazine. Take a look in the back at the tournaments being run in the local casinos. The ones with the bigger tournaments with the higher buy in, are less low limit friendly. The ones with the lower limit tournaments probably have some nice low limit games too.

Generally most casinos are going to spread some $1/$2 or $1/$3 no limit these days unless they are really up scale. They want to attract the newbies in to spend their money.

The lowest limits that you are going to find are 3-6 limit and most places now have 1-2 no limit with a max buy in of 200.

If you don't want to lose too much money, play cheap tournaments.
