neatly - adverb
he/him - pronoun
on - preposition
and/but - conjunction
articles - a/an/the

It's a descriptive clause. "Natural" and "abrasive" are both describing pumice. So it's an adjective. But I can see why that would be super confusing. It took me a second too.
