Would it count as your first date with him if you and him agree to go on a double date with your friends(which are his friends too)?

Yes, definitly a first date. Just the friends are there to give support just in case sparks don't fly.

Consider this your first date on a double date. Then maybe next time, you'll have a first date with just the two of you. You can never have too many first dates!! It makes the first kisses even better!

my friend says that it is more of a gathering and a first date should be more personalized with just the two of you. honestly, how are you getting to know each other with everyone else around you ya know, which is actually what the first date is for.

A date is a date whether its just you and him or 10 people all together, if you are with him, its a date. Why does it matter anyway, be happy you were with him and hope he asks for another one.
