I think God hates sinners. Read Psalm 5:5 "The arrogant cannot stand in your presence; you hate all who do wrong."
But God hates sinners conditionally. The condition is their sin. If they repent, everything changes.

If you say that he doesn't you are clearly contradicting Psalms 5:5.

I think some have misunderstood me. I believe that God loves everybody including sinners. His love is unconditional. He will do everything He can to save everyone. I also believe that God hates sinners on the condition that they stay in their sin.

I don't think you can say that God hates sin and loves the sinner. Sin is not an object, it's a condition that we are in. If you say that God hates sin you are essentially saying that God hates sinners.

Yes. It's not just sinners but the sin. Accepting Jesus separates you from the sin, and without the sin, you're not a sinner.
It's not just about repentance, it's through Jesus that we are free of sin.

You need to keep this straight. God hates the sin, but loves the sinner. Does not the Bible say plainly that ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God? Yet it also says plainly, For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. That whosoever comes to the Savior, should not perish, but have everlasting life.
If God hated the sinner, He would not have sent a Savior.

God hates sin..... sin seperates us from God... we choose whether we are close to or apart from God... God loves us so much that he allowed his only son, Jesus, to die for our sins as the perfect atonement sacrifice... I would say that God loves us an awful LOT!
I have to look at it from the side of a parent. I love my kids with the very core of my heart... nothing ever could change that love... even when they mess up (bad) it doesnt change my love... i don't agree, or i don't allow, the bad junk while they live here.. if they choose to continue, they would be asked to leave.... but that doesnt stop my love for them.... and i would never hate them... they are a precious gift
so likewise...God is our Father.... and He loves us unconditionally, nothing we do will ever stop that love for us... but He will turn from us and our sin, as there can be no darkness where there is Light...

We are all sinners. God loves me though. So perhaps a little more reading of the word of God for you? Perhaps John chapter 3.

God hates those who persist in their sins, who refuse to repent of their wickedness. But God loves those who repent of their wicked ways, and who live in newness of life in Christ Jesus. Paul said it beautifully, in that God's love for us is shown in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Which god? There are hundreds to choose from. I think I might be rather partial to Bacchus, myself.
